The Bytown Operaworks cast and crew will be producing concerts and productions on a “per event” basis until such time as the effects of the recession on the arts improve. We will not be auditioning new memebers until that time. Thank you for your continued support and interest in Bytown Operaworks. We look forward to serving you in the future.

About The Company

Community Outreach

In our 2003-04 season we were able to initiate our “community outreach program” through one hour presentations at some local senior's residences, as well as through a series of “dinner theatre” performances.

Bytown Operaworks also has begun a training initiative aimed at youngsters who have never experienced opera before. Students, aged 10 to 17, have been participants of our “Children's Chorus”. We hope to continue this program for budding vocalists in the Ottawa area.
